Colin formally joined the Architectural Practice of C.J. Falconer & Associates in 2003, bringing to the practice, his interests of Contextual, Contemporary, and Sustainable Design, Spatial Concepts, and high quality façade-design.
He has received national, award-winning recognition on several of his projects from different sectors over the last two decades, including the UPMC Global Operations Centre, Kilkenny, Sun Life Ireland HQ, Waterford, New Mortuary & Postmortem Development at University Hospital Waterford, Scoil na Tríonóide Naofa, Doon, Co. Limerick (Schools PPP Bundle 3), SVP McGwire House Conservation & Extension, Mixed Use Social Development at Hennessy’s Road, Waterford, Teagasc Oakpark.
Colin has also contributed to architectural publications, including Architecture Ireland articles, ‘Public Private Partnership, Education, & the Architecture Practice’ & ‘Gravitas: Designing for Death & Bereavement’; exhibition catalogue for Projeto Contemporaneo 2007; and Oxford Brookes University Yearbook.
From 2012, Colin led CJFA’s first project delivered entirely in Building Information Design (BIM) – Teagasc Moorepark Paddy O’Keeffe Research & Innovation Centre – while, most recently, he has developed new, and strengthened old, relationships with FDI & IDA Clients, including Sun Life Ireland, Tech-Mahindra, SE2/Delaware Life, IDA, Enterprise Ireland, Kia Ireland, MSD/CBRE, UPMC, Unum, and more.
