The project is one of five schools which have been delivered in parallel, on which C.J. Falconer & Associates have acted as architects, as part of the ABM Design and Build Ltd Team, for under the Department of Education & Skills’ Design and Build Schools Framework 1, Lot 1.
The delivery of the Malahide Portmarnock Educate Together Secondary School, included the Design & Build of a new three-storey 1,000 pupil post primary school building, 2 no. class ASD Unit, PE Hall, associated car parking, access road and associated storage and auxiliary buildings – as well as the provision of the 10 no. prefabricated school classrooms, temporary staff parking and disabled access parking for the duration of the school construction.
Delivered on a circa 2.86 Hectare site, site works to the school grounds school included provision of external ball courts, landscaping, carparking, connection to public services and all associated site works.
