The project is one of five schools which have been delivered in parallel, on which C.J. Falconer & Associates have acted as architects, as part of the ABM Design and Build Ltd Team, for under the Department of Education & Skills’ Design and Build Schools Framework 1, Lot 1.

The development consisted of 1 No. 16 classroom, two-storey, primary school building with general purpose hall, support teaching spaces, and ancillary accommodation, with a total floor area of 2,710 m2, within the curtilage of Muckross Park House, a Protected Structure, accessed off Marlborough Road, Donnybrook, Dublin 4 – and including the conversion of an existing vacant Montessori building to provide Resource Room.

The works included widening of existing entrance and 2no. new entrances onto Mount Eden Road. The site works to the school grounds include the provision of 132 no. cycle storage spaces, scooter storage, bin store, external store, ball courts, project gardens, play areas, landscaping and boundary treatment and all other associated site development works.

The works to the remainder of the site consist of the provision of 16 no. parking spaces, drop-off and pick-up facilities, all on a site c. 1.19 Hectares located on the Grounds of the Dominican Convent (Protected Structure), Muckross Park, Donnybrook, Dublin.
